COVID 19 UPDATE

Northern Lights Little League

COVID 19 (CORONAVIRUS) UPDATE

 May, 6th 2020

 Hi All,

As Northern Lights Board of Directors have been meeting by virtual meeting’s every two weeks to discuss options for resuming operations after May 18th, 2020.

We met again on Tuesday, April 28th and with continuing changes we have come up with some tentative dates as we are all still living with the unknown. for guidance prior to resuming any Little League activities.

NLLL is following recommendations from local health authorities, City of Thornton, District Two and Little League International.  We will not resume playing baseball until experts from those organizations say it is safe to do so. Safety first. We are in the process of putting together a plan of action that will be released when/if we get the go ahead to start play.

We are hoping to form all teams around Mid-June, 2020 with practice starting shortly after. We are planning to start our season on July 6th, 2020 with games going into the first to middle part of September. (This could change under the current circumstances)

We sincerely hope that everyone gets an opportunity to play this year, and we’ll work hard to make that happen as soon as we can. We are committed to doing the best we can for the safety and wellbeing of all our players, families, volunteers, and fans. It is our sincere hope that we can find ways to bring everyone back to the Northern Lights Little League fields this season for a Summer/Fall season.

The Board of Directors will meet again to discuss option’s again on Tuesday May 12th, 2020. We are urging all parents and families to please be patient as we work through this ever-evolving situation.

We will keep everyone updated.

Thank you all for your support, understanding, and patience.

Please stay safe……..

Wishing ALL the Mom’s a VERY HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!

Sincerely,

Northern Lights Board of Directors
